Sorcerer’s Apprentice (Photograph #4144)

Phragmipediums, better known as a slipper orchids, have a devoted following among orchid growers and hobbyists. This Sorcerer’s Apprentice shows a reddish “slipper” bloom with its light gold pouch speckled with red—all of this designed to attract a bug into the pouch to complete pollination needed for reproduction.

This photograph is printed on archival Fine Art photo paper using Epson Ultrachrome pigment based inks and complemented with a soft-white double mat. An optional black aluminum frame by Nielsen completes a piece of art that's ready to hang.

This photograph is available in two sizes: 8"x10" double matted to 11"x14" and 11"x14" double matted to 16"x20".
