![]() Alone in the Storm (Photograph #9146)
As the rolling grasslands of northeastern New Mexico begin to meet the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, the landmark known as “Rabbit Ear” mountain comes into view. The mountain, a remnant of an ancient volcano, is named for a Cheyenne chief who died in a battle with the Spanish in 1717. The photograph is printed on archival Museo Silver Rag photo paper using Epson Ultrachrome pigment based inks and complemented with a soft-white mat. An optional black aluminum frame by Nielsen completes a piece of art that's ready to hang. This photograph is available in two sizes: 8"x10" matted to 11"x14" and 11"x14" matted to 16"x20".
