Red Rocks
Red Rocks (Photograph #9192)

The red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, have been formed over 300 million years. The eroded rock formations in this photograph tell of astounding geologic history. Sedona was sometimes under the sea and sometimes a flood plain. After uplifting of the Colorado Plateau, cracks in the earth became water paths that wore away the rock to create the sights we see today.

The photograph is printed on archival Museo Silver Rag photo paper using Epson Ultrachrome K3 pigment based inks and complemented with a soft-white mat. An optional black aluminum frame by Nielsen completes a piece of art that's ready to hang.

This photograph is available in two sizes: 8"x12" matted to 12"x16" and 12"x18" matted to 16"x24".
