Sycamore Sketches (Photograph #6112)
The American sycamore is a common, massive tree with the largest trunk diameter of any Eastern U.S. hardwoods. It is easily identified by looking at the bark, usually composed of an abstract arrangement of mixed green, tan, and cream that looks like camouflage. The bark pattern on the tree in this photograph contains what might be seen as animal images. This photograph is printed on archival fine art photo paper using Epson Ultrachrome pigment based inks and complemented with a soft-white mat. An optional black aluminum frame by Nielsen completes a piece of art that's ready to hang. The photograph is available in two sizes: 8"x10" matted to 11"x14" and 11"X14" matted to 16"x20".
