Poppy (Photograph #A5125)

The poppy is a delicate, crepe-paper-like flower that comes in several different solid colors and a few that combine two colors. The flower evokes many responses from wonder to deep grief as red poppies are used as a symbol of peace and freedom and some varieties are cultivated as a source of morphine, codeine, and opium. The orange poppy in this photograph is grown only for its beauty.

This photograph is infused in aluminum. It is available in two sizes: 11"x14" and 16"x20". The finished piece is ready to hang and does not require a mat or frame.
